Active & Healthy Lifestyles

At Honour Early Learning, we believe that healthy children are happy learners. Supporting children to develop active lifestyles, positive wellbeing habits and a healthy relationship with food is an important part of our early learning philosophy.

Through purposeful movement, outdoor exploration, and nutritious meals, we help children build the foundations for lifelong health and wellbeing.

Our Partnership with Kotoni Staggs

We are proud to partner with sports star Kotoni Staggs to champion the importance of movement, wellbeing and healthy lifestyles for young children. Kotoni is passionate about supporting young people to build confidence through sport, movement and positive routines. Together, we share a commitment to helping children develop healthy habits from an early age.

Our Partnership with Tamika Upton

We are proud to partner with elite athlete and inspiring role model Tamika Upton to celebrate women in sport and encourage children to grow with determination and self-belief. Tamika champions the importance of movement, nutritious food, teamwork and positive daily habits in supporting health and performance. Together, we aim to inspire children to embrace new challenges, develop leadership skills and believe in everything they can achieve.

Through these partnerships, our Centres promote:

Daily movement and active play
Building confidence through physical development
Positive wellbeing and resilience
Healthy nutrition habits
Community engagement and family events
Families across our Centres have the opportunity to participate in special events and experiences that celebrate movement, community, and healthy living.

Movement & Physical Development in Our Curriculum

Movement is a vital part of how children learn and grow. Our educators intentionally incorporate active play, gross motor development and movement-based learning into everyday experiences. Through outdoor play, group games, obstacle courses, music and dance, children develop:

Strength and coordination
Balance and body awareness
Confidence in their physical abilities
Social skills through cooperative play
A love of being active

Our learning environments are designed to encourage exploration and movement supporting children’s physical development while building confidence and independence.

CubbyHouse Kitchen Nutrition

Our menus created by CubbyHouse Kitchen focus on:

Fresh, and nutritious ingredients
Meals that support children’s growth and development
