Our Spaces
At Honour Early Learning, each space is thoughtfully designed to support children from 6 weeks to 5 years, nurturing growth, play, and discovery at every stage.
Nursery Environment
0-2 years
Our Nursery is a calm, warm, and inviting space where our nurturing team provides personalised care, taking time to understand each child’s unique needs, routines, and cues.
Designed to keep children happy, engaged, and learning throughout the day, the room offers a variety of appropriate age experiences that encourage exploration at each child’s own pace and according to their individual interests.
In the Nursery, our team supports every child’s development of self-identity and communication both verbal and non-verbal while fostering a strong sense of emotional and social wellbeing.
Toddler Environment
2-3 years
Our Toddler rooms are vibrant, nurturing spaces where each child’s individuality, curiosity, and energy are embraced and encouraged. The warm, familiar faces of our dedicated team guide children’s learning and development through a balance of intentional teaching and play-based learning.
Intentional teaching involves modelling, open-ended questioning, shared thinking, and problem-solving to extend each child’s understanding. Play-based learning allows children to discover, imagine, and create as they explore the world around them. Here, children are supported to test ideas, form friendships, and challenge their thinking in a safe and supportive environment.
Each day, toddlers engage in a variety of enriching experiences from dramatic play and storytelling to collaborative problem-solving and outdoor exploration in our spacious, resource-rich environments.
Our learning programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0) a national curriculum that ensures consistency and quality in early education across Australia.
Kindergarten Environment
3-5 years
We help set children up for a smooth transition to school and beyond.
Our School Readiness program is led by a university-qualified Teacher and supported by experienced Educators who nurture confident, capable, and curious learners. The program focuses on developing early literacy and numeracy skills while also supporting children’s social, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0), our curriculum ensures a consistent, high-quality approach to early education preparing your child for the classroom and life with confidence and enthusiasm.

Our environments are designed to spark imagination.
Our playgrounds are thoughtfully designed to spark imagination, promote physical development, and encourage meaningful outdoor exploration. Each centre features its own unique outdoor environment, carefully created to support children’s interests, development, and sense of adventure.
Designed to be age-appropriate and engaging, our playgrounds offer a balance of open space for running, climbing, and active gross motor play, alongside quiet areas for imaginative adventures and creative exploration. Whether it’s navigating obstacle courses, splashing in water play zones, caring for herb gardens, or inventing games in nature inspired cubby houses, children are free to learn, grow, and discover through play.
Our outdoor spaces are more than playgrounds — they are vibrant, living classrooms where children build confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of the natural world.
Our educators have a commitment to excellence.
Our team is made up of passionate, dedicated educators who are committed to providing the highest standard of care and education for every child. Our educators either hold recognised Early Childhood Education qualifications or are studying towards them, and all participate in continuous professional development to keep in touch of best practice in early learning.
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, all team members are trained in First Aid, Safe Sleep practices, and Fire Safety procedures, creating a nurturing, secure, and responsive environment where children can thrive.
Supporting our educators is a dedicated team of specialised support staff — including a qualified onsite nurse — who work closely with children, families, and educators to deliver holistic care. Whether assisting with health needs, developmental milestones, or emotional wellbeing, our support team provides expert guidance and an extra layer of reassurance for your family.
Our play-based curriculum supports children’s sense of belonging, being and becoming.
Our rich daily programs are filled with diverse, engaging learning opportunities both inside and outside the centre. Each day, children are invited to participate in activities such as art activities, gardening projects, sports programs, yoga sessions, and cultural celebrations.
We believe in the importance of listening to children’s voices and our programs are thoughtfully designed in response to their interests, ideas, and curiosity. This child led approach ensures that learning is meaningful, empowering, and deeply engaging for every child.
Regular excursions and centre incursions further enrich children’s experiences, connecting them with their community and broadening their understanding of the world. From nature walks and library visits to animal encounters and STEM workshops, our excursions are carefully chosen to spark wonder and extend learning beyond the centre walls.
Building Strong Little Hands ✋✨
Fine motor development plays an important role in a child`s early learning journey, and our children have been busy exploring a range of engaging fine motor resources!
Activities such as threading, tweezing, manipulating small objects, puzzles, peg boards and construction materials help strengthen the small muscles in children`s hands, fingers and wrists. These skills are essential for everyday tasks such as holding a pencil, using scissors, buttoning clothing and self-help routines.
Developing strong fine motor skills from an early age helps prepare children for a successful transition to Prep, supporting their confidence and independence when it comes to writing, drawing and other classroom activities.
Learning through play is one of the best ways to build these important foundations, and our children are having so much fun while they learn!

Learning is full of colour at Honour 🌈
Our colour sorting experiences are designed to spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and make learning fun through hands-on play. Using a variety of bright and engaging resources, children are invited to sort, match, and discover colours in ways that feel exciting and meaningful to them.
These simple yet powerful activities help children develop important early learning skills such as problem-solving, concentration, fine motor development, and early mathematical thinking. They also encourage children to observe similarities and differences, build confidence, and explore the world around them through play.
Whether it’s sorting loose parts, exploring colourful sensory materials, or working together on group experiences, every activity is an opportunity for children to learn, create, and grow at their own pace ✨
As we prepare to welcome families to Honour, we’re excited to create engaging learning environments filled with playful experiences that inspire curiosity and discovery every day 💛

Little minds are constantly learning through play 🧩
Puzzle play is a wonderful way for children to explore, think, and problem-solve while having fun. At Honour, we’re creating inviting learning spaces filled with a variety of puzzles for all ages and stages, encouraging children to challenge themselves, build confidence, and celebrate their achievements along the way.
From simple knob puzzles for our youngest learners to more complex puzzles for older children, these experiences support the development of fine motor skills, concentration, patience, memory, and critical thinking. Puzzle play also encourages persistence as children learn to keep trying, test different ideas, and experience the excitement of finding the perfect fit.
Whether children are working independently or alongside friends, puzzles provide meaningful opportunities for collaboration, communication, and a sense of accomplishment
As we prepare to open our doors at Honour, we can’t wait to see our children explore, discover, and grow through hands-on learning experiences every day 💛

Big ideas start with little builders 🧱
At Honour, our construction spaces are designed to inspire creativity, problem-solving, and imaginative play through hands-on learning experiences. With plenty of blocks and building materials to explore, children are encouraged to create, experiment, and bring their ideas to life in their own unique way.
From towering structures and bustling cities to imaginative creations only they can dream up, construction play allows children to explore concepts like balance, teamwork, spatial awareness, and persistence, all while having so much fun.
These experiences also encourage communication and collaboration as children work together, share ideas, and celebrate their creations with pride. There’s something so special about watching confidence grow, one block at a time
As we prepare to open our doors at Honour, we can’t wait to see the incredible things our little builders will create and discover together 💛

Every child is a little artist in the making 🎨
Our art and collage areas are thoughtfully designed to inspire creativity, imagination, and self-expression from the very beginning. With a variety of open-ended materials to explore, children are encouraged to create freely, experiment with different textures and colours, and bring their ideas to life in their own unique way.
Whether it’s painting, drawing, gluing, cutting, or creating collages with loose parts and natural materials, these experiences help children build confidence, fine motor skills, and creative thinking—all while having fun and expressing themselves through art.
We believe there’s no “right” or “wrong” when it comes to creativity. Every scribble, splash of colour, and carefully placed piece tells a story and celebrates each child’s individuality.
As we prepare to welcome families into our centre, we’re excited to create inspiring spaces where creativity can flourish and every little artist feels proud of what they create 💛
